Intelitek, a global leader in comprehensive technology learning solutions and our mother company, has officially announced our compatibility with the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3.
We are an online learning environment that empowers students worldwide to learn how to program virtual and real robots within the STEM pathways. We know, discovering innovative ways to engage today and tomorrow’s generations of learners in STEM-related fields becomes a bigger challenge every day.
“Robotics is a great way to introduce STEM into the classroom. While traditional robotics programs require a large upfront investment in equipment and teacher training, CoderZ delivers robotics, coding, and STEM to every student through a cyber-robot learning environment that is scalable, affordable, and accessible” says Oren Elias, General Manager of CoderZ
We are thrilled to announce that we are now compatible with the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 so students can experience how their code is put into action using this amazing robot. LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 enables students to build, program, and test their solutions based on real-life robotics technology.
What we are doing is to enablestudents to program their own cyber-robot while acquiring 21st-century skills. Our platform has built-in gamified missions in order to motivate kids to accomplish challenges to acquire new skills and knowledge.
We begin with a friendly drag-and-drop visual editor, allowing kids, worldwide, to progress to code their virtual robot using text-based programming languages, regardless of their prior coding experience.
No worries! We are absolutely browser-based, meaning that kids can code their cyber-robot anytime, anywhere, inside or outside the classroom, supporting new teaching concepts including flipped classrooms. Our platform also provides class management tools for teachers, coaches, and mentors, to track each student’s progress and activity in real time.
We offerteacher training through Professional Development workshops, specialized STEM webinars, and integrated curriculum materials.
Worried about the academic content? CoderZ is delivered with classroom curricula that can be used either self-paced or teacher-led. Si señor! Our online learning environment and supporting materials are available both in English and Spanish.
If you want to try what this is all about, we are currently offering a 5-day free trial of our learning environment.
As a summary, CoderZ is a scalable and effective way for every student to experience the world of STEM and robotics and to be prepared for the challenges of the 21st century. This provides an equal opportunity for kids to acquire problem-solving skills and develop computational and critical thinking.
A provider of STEM-robotics equipment and training for young women and teachers in underserved communities around the globe, the Community Bots is the brainchild of Jack Cooley, a science teacher with a 25-year success record across grades 3-12.
For Parkland Magnet MS’ teachers, CoderZ offers up real-world applications that help students actually see how what they’re learning is applicable in the real world—even though it’s only in a computer simulation.
With the help of a DOE grant, Parkside school is now using CoderZ, an innovative online learning environment where kids learn how to program real and virtual robots using a 3D robotics simulation.
