Coding is an essential skill that prepares your kids for a fast-changing technological future. But the thought of teaching kids coding from home can seem daunting. So we designed CoderZ as a gamified online platform to make learning STEM and coding simple for anyone.
The advantages don’t just end with learning to code (though that’s pretty amazing in its own right). They also include developing computational thinking and problem solving skills – even for those who don’t identify with being good at math or science. Courses are self-paced to encourage kids to challenge themselves in a way that’s engaging without feeling intimidated.
Once they’re ready, you can complement their coding classes with CoderZ League competitions. They’ll code with other kids from countries around the world, while picking up skills in collaboration and grit as an added bonus!

At CoderZ, coding classes for kids incorporate all the core STEM subjects, with an emphasis on programming using virtual robotics. In an introductory course such as CoderZ Adventures, kids start by solving basic math and geometry problems, and then use the visual code editor Blockly to pick up coding fundamentals such as variables, logical expressions, and loops. Developed by Google, Blockly lets beginners apply programming principles without having to worry about syntax or an intimidating blinking cursor on the command line.
As your online coding tutor, kids can use CoderZ to progress to Cyber Robotics 101, and Cyber Robotics 102. There they’ll continue using Blockly to learn more advanced skills in robotics, while also incorporating concepts from engineering and physics. In Python Gym, the final and most advanced course, kids learn how to use the popular text-based language Python to program their own virtual robot.
The keys to becoming a successful learner at any age are the ‘4 Cs’ of education: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication. CoderZ brings all four of these concepts into one gamified platform to provide coding lessons that feel more like robotic video games. Kids learn how to program friendly virtual robots to move through a series of exciting missions using 3D simulation.
