Our courses make it simple for anyone to learn (or teach) essential computer science and STEM skills—no experience needed!
Start today and set up your child for success.
We believe all kids should have access to the best learning tools for STEM and computer science. So we built a gamified platform that uses virtual robots to make coding come to life!
We’ve got you covered! CoderZ’s curriculum aligns to state and national STEM standards.
With just one low course fee and no expensive hardware, all you need is an internet connection to get started.
Self-paced courses help your child gain skills in a way that feels engaging, not overwhelming. Even if they don’t think of themselves as "math kids".
Don’t know a thing about STEM, coding, or robotics? That’s okay! Our platform guides you through the courses, providing all the tools you need to teach your kids coding classes.

More than 150,000 students from 30 countries have competed in the CoderZ League, an international robotics competition designed to engage students at any level of experience. Collaborative teamwork helps them acquire new skills in STEM and coding.JOIN THE LEAGUE
Includes progress tracking and cheat sheets for easy follow up. Need more of a challenge? You can create activities tailored to your kid's needs and abilities!
Robots are great, but sometimes you still prefer to speak to a human. Our support team is available to answer all your questions, whether technical or education related.
Some kids start as young as 6 or 7 years of age. Our courses are designed for kids ages 8 and up, and cover additional STEM concepts and 21st Century skills.
Connect the dots to things that are familiar. Show them how coding is the foundation for much of the technology that we use on a daily basis to make our lives easier.
Look for the course that matches their age and/or grade level. If you’re not sure or think your child is ready for more of a challenge, speak to our support team for assistance.
Keep it simple, and preferably gamified. The challenges should be engaging but attainable, so that kids remain inquisitive and don’t get overwhelmed. All you need is an internet connection and a computer.

Coding is an essential skill that prepares your kids for a fast-changing technological future. But the thought of teaching kids coding from home can seem daunting. So we designed CoderZ as a gamified online platform to make learning STEM and coding simple for anyone.
The advantages don’t just end with learning to code (though that’s pretty amazing in its own right). They also include developing computational thinking and problem solving skills – even for those who don’t identify with being good at math or science. Courses are self-paced to encourage kids to challenge themselves in a way that’s engaging without feeling intimidated.
Once they’re ready, you can complement their coding classes with CoderZ League competitions. They’ll code with other kids from countries around the world, while picking up skills in collaboration and grit as an added bonus!
One of the benefits of coding for students from home is that it allows for self-paced learning. Kids who find coding more challenging can get the assistance they need, while kids who excel can quickly develop their skill set. Check out our blog for articles on how to teach coding for kids.
Perhaps more importantly, code learning that is accessible from home helps close the equity gap in STEM education. It puts the power to teach and learn in the hands of a wider audience of parents and children, without the limitations of expensive hardware or specialized knowledge.
At CoderZ, coding classes for kids incorporate all the core STEM subjects, with an emphasis on programming using virtual robotics. In an introductory course such as CoderZ Adventures, kids start by solving basic math and geometry problems, and then use the visual code editor Blockly to pick up coding fundamentals such as variables, logical expressions, and loops. Developed by Google, Blockly lets beginners apply programming principles without having to worry about syntax or an intimidating blinking cursor on the command line.
As your online coding tutor, kids can use CoderZ to progress to Cyber Robotics 101, and Cyber Robotics 102. There they’ll continue using Blockly to learn more advanced skills in robotics, while also incorporating concepts from engineering and physics. In Python Gym, the final and most advanced course, kids learn how to use the popular text-based language Python to program their own virtual robot.
The keys to becoming a successful learner at any age are the ‘4 Cs’ of education: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication. CoderZ brings all four of these concepts into one gamified platform to provide coding lessons that feel more like robotic video games. Kids learn how to program friendly virtual robots to move through a series of exciting missions using 3D simulation.
Learning in this gamified way is particularly effective for kids who may require help in overcoming resistance to learning STEM subjects. Though it’s equally engaging for any kid, no matter their skill level!
