The program was also recognized as a finalist in the best robotics solution category

DERRY, N.H. – March 28, 2024CoderZ, the gamified coding platform that combines instruction for STEM, computer science and career readiness skills, was named the winner in the 2024 EdTech Awards from EdTech Digest Best Coding, Computer Science and Engineering category.  CoderZ was also honored as a finalist in their best robotics solution category.

CoderZ is an innovative computer science learning platform for students in Grades 3-12.  Any teacher, even those without computer science expertise, can integrate CoderZ’s inquiry-based coding and robotics challenges into their core STEM instruction. Each CoderZ course develops interdisciplinary skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and grit as well as core knowledge in physics, geometry, literacy, and algebra. CoderZ also offers a professional development program that introduces instructors to the concepts of coding, robotics, teaching computer science and computational thinking.

Celebrating its 14th year, the EdTech Awards were established to recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate the most exceptional innovators, leaders, and trendsetters in education technology. This year’s finalists and winners were narrowed from the larger field and judged based on various criteria, including: pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value and potential.

“We are extremely honored to have received this recognition from our industry peers and are proud to be helping educators ignite students’ passion for STEM through robotics, coding, and computer science,” said Tony Oran, CEO of CoderZ and Intelitek. “The EdTech Awards are an important part of the ed tech community, highlighting the great work of so many innovative educators seeking to improve student learning across every discipline. Together, we are preparing today’s students for the careers of tomorrow.”

“Warm and hearty congratulations to all The EdTech Awards 2024 finalists and winners—very, very well done! The barriers education technology leaders have overcome in the last few years to make it to where they are today — well, that’s a cause for celebration,” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the program.
